What I Offer

Contact me if you would like to find more and chat about what I can bring to your project.

As an artist, facilitator and trainer my focus is giving people enthusiasm, confidence and tools to catalyse positive change.

Climate and Biodiversity training

The climate and biodiversity crisis is messy, it is as much about people as it is about science.

I deliver Climate Fresk workshops, Carbon Literacy and Net Zero train via The Hive and bespoke, outdoor Climate and Biodiverstiy 101 sessions. All training covers core knowledge, insights about behaviours and beliefs, and most vitally, in-person discussions and attention to mental-health and wellbeing.

Creative, informal education

From one off workshops to multi-session courses, I devise and deliver tailored educational projects that use creative practices that engage the learners in the subject in a relaxed format. I provide resources and prompts that offer novel ways to approach a topic and allow learner-led exploration.

Arts-based science communication

I love listening to scientists talking about their work, but what I really want to hear is why they care about their subject and why they think it will make a difference. This is where to find the story that is accessible to a wider audience.

I typically produce interactive installations but I am adaptable to whatever medium and format is most suitable.

Facilition

‘Facilitation’ is an amorphous word. I see it as supporting people through a process towards an agreed goal that everyone has contributed to.

I can work with organisations to guide processes with specific end-points, and lead workshops that delve into a topic and seek emergent outcomes.

I have 15+ years experience in grassroots organising and a non-executive director of a Community Interest Company.

Co-creation and participatory research

This is the space where my skills come together – working between researchers and community participants to guide suitable arts-based practices that generate insights and meaningful exchange. I curate and facilitate activities with care for diverse perspectives and making space for nuanced conversations. The outcome is very much secondary to the process.

Education consultation

I hold an MSc in Education for Sustainability and have worked in London schools operationally and strategically for over 10 years. I developed the Schools and College Climate Action framework for Waltham Forest Council and I am a Science and Sustainability link Governor at South Grove primary school.

I can provide tailored sustainability support for your school.
